A strange ritual or way they like tot open stuff?

I haven't opened them either. I figured I would wait as well. So you are not alone in that aspect, though I don't consider it a ritual. I just kinda thought I'd review them all once they got here and decide if I wanted to get rid of any.

I have only bought a few of the FSS figs so far and have a few more on preorder, but I haven't opened the ones I have either. I only display my customs though, so I have no reason to open them. Actually, now that I think about it. I only open things I need for a custom. I have quite a few unopened figures and vehicles in the crawl space.

I find opening lots of stuff at once lessens the impact of all but the best item. If you want to give each item a review based on its own merits and not how it compares to others, open them as they come.

I tend to open things as I get them or until I have some time to "digest" them. I'm looking at you boxed con Night Boomer. It isn't a ritual or anything, it is just a matter of finding the time to open a whole wave of figures or something at once and keep track of everything is a little daunting. When it takes me an hour to get parts out of the bubbles or put on stickers, I tend to put that off.

Plus when nothing is on the shelves that I want, like right now, it is kind of satisfying knowing there is something new at home already that needs to be freed. I'm less impulse-y.

I've only bought a couple of them, but I opened them. Just very carefully to preserve the card as best as possible.
