Well. That's certainly interesting. The book was fascinating, so this could be sort of cool. Defiantly something I'll keep an eye out for.

Reading the article it looks like the creative staff have projects with Mattel and Netflix/Marvel, who're tied to Hasbro; so now I wonder how hard-hitting this will or won't be.

I'm more wondering how you make a short series out of a book with no real narrative, no climactic Act, and no lead character.

"The Hassenfeld Brothers sold pencil cases...Mattel made Barbie...Kenner made Star Wars toys...They almost merged once. Hasbro and Mattel continue to make toys. The End"

I love the book. It is a great read. I just don't know how you make that compelling to an audience.

I do see this being a tough thing to turn into a movie or whatever, but there are "business-based" TV shows out there. Maybe if they tried to do it as a pseudo-documentary?
