Post subject:  TRU Animal Planet Deep Sea Sub!
I was at TRU this afternoon hunting in vain for a lone Data-Viper and saw this:

This very cool little sub has (at least) 2 opening hatches and 2 articulated, extendable servo arms and comes loaded with deep sea animals, some cool accessories (including a wicked little sea sled) and 2 diver figures (sadly with typical Chap Mei articulation).

I plan on getting 1 on Friday when I get paid as it is a perfect base vehicle for a retro 30's "Buck Rogers"/"Flash Gordon"- stylespaceship!

It's only $27.99 and can be found in the Animal Planet aisle!

Cool! I finally tracked down one of the previous exploratory subs to use as an Adventure Team vehicle, and now I'll have two different options. This thing looks pretty awesome, and I don't even have to paint it yellow. Thanks for the tip; I'll be on the lookout for this.

well I gotta say I started out thinking I'd have lukewarm interest in it primarily as an Adventure Team type of thing...

But then I saw your comment about the pulp era spaceship, and now I know I have to get one (speaking as someone with a Flash Gordon in the WIP line!).

I nabbed one last night, but didn't get to the pics yet. Will try to do so tonight. Mainly so that I can move on to painting it up and beat gijoey towards completion of the Flash-verse. I know he will love me for that...

I wasn't talking about Spectre posting pics of one. I stated I didn't find any pics on Google.

Can't believe there are no pics up at all anywhere...

How could I love you any more than I do now........Letting me do mine first would be a good start ;-)
Unfortunately my TRU's don't have this yet.
Can't wait to see what yours looks like painted up.

That thing would look so cool chromed.
