 Post subject: "Expand-A-Shelf" Step Displays

People often ask me what kind of step display I use to display my custom figures. I had to buy another one tonight so I thought I'd show everyone just what type/brand I use. They are called "The Original Expand-A-Shelf" and can be found at The Container Store (and I'm sure other places as well) retailing for $9.99.

Box front:

They are one to a box and expand from 14" to 27" by sliding out the inner part of the rack.

14" long out of the box:

27" fully extended:

You can fit standard figures 3-deep on each level but bulkier figures will only do 1-2 depending on how bulky they are.

i used styrofoam (and toothpicks to hold them together) to make levelled shelve displays like these for my joe cabinet...

waaaay cheaper. :)
