my son got this for Christmas. Looks like he'll have to share, not just with his little brother, but maybe with pops too...

these pics focused on how well the set can work for Joe-scaled toys, and the answer is surprisingly well - either as is, or for some sweet ass parts to merge into other things, like say a huge Castle Destro tower....

but if you or a kid are a TMNT fan, this thing has to be like the Flagg or Deathstar set of this generation, it's huge and fun. The list price of $99.99 is totally worth it for a TMNT kid, but once they start re-stocking the TMNT ailse, pay attention, as I got this one for $79.99 a couple months before the Christmas rush.

Wow, that thing is amazing. What I wouldn't do to be able to paint it and detail it up...it would look AMAZING with more paint apps, especially the bricks and boards. Hope I can find it on clearance some day!

agreed. since my wife might kick me out if I got a second one for that purpose, I'll wait to see if my boy wants that treatment done to his someday.

The TMNT decals are pretty decent (just be sure to apply them BEFORE aseembly - "Santa" wasn't smart enough to do this :shifty: ) and I also note that the background images work surprisingly well. I love that pic of my Robin climbing the utility post, with the comic-booky alley behind him.

But yes, the sculpt is tremendous.

I had bought the old vintage line sewer set some time ago, maybe for a custom...but then gave it to my son when he started collecting the new TMNT stuff. Now he wants me to turn that into a custom Batcave for him.

Wow, so much play value!
This does look like a very fun set.

I remember watching the assembly video on their official youtube channel, so damn impressive what they've accomplished.

I suppose it should be no surprise that the large playset works so well with 4inch action figures, the pizza box playset does that too.

That is perfectly in scale with those figures . Very impressive. If i were a child this seems like it would create ARAH type memories . Fully poseable figures of iconic characters and a sewer lair for battles?

Full of Win.

Congratulations on a fine purchase.
