That's awesome, Thomas- you seem to have taken a little better care of yours. Considering I was 12 when I got mine, I guess I should just be glad its still in one piece. I wonder how many of these are still out there? You've got to figure most kids probably didn't care about it as much as we did. How great is it that at least two lifelong GI Joe fans were lucky enough to get these?
Yeah, I was
*ahem* a bit older than that when I got it.
I have this one large, rather flat box -- originally it was used to store light sensitive sheets of film for a printshop I worked for that was part of my church, before we started doing everything on computers. It's great for storing "large paperwork" in. I figured if the letters page was anywhere that would be it.
Who knows how many are out there? Unlike story art pages, the letters pages are basically paste-ups. They might've sent the whole lot of them out over time.
I've also got a letters page for Guardians of the Galaxy (the original future based team), and I have a bound set of storyboards for an episode of the Dungeons & Dragons animated series.
