http://www.toysrus.com/product/index.js ... d=19438423 At that price, I picked one up. I wasn't going to, but my daughter is getting into lego, so she and I can build it together. Looks like all Kreo is on deep sale, but most sets aren't for sale online. |

Not sure what tru is doing. I know they're trying to blow out remaining kreo and be done with it, but they keep jacking around prices. Terror Drome was $35 a few weeks ago, too, then when I went to order one for Colton, it was back to $50. |

They've been having discount sales which comes off the already clearance prices. They did a Black Friday sale which took 50% off their clearance prices (got a Arashikage Temple for $15) and Friday and Saturday they did another 2-day discount sale. But as you've noticed most of their online stock has sold out (stores have been picked clean too from what I've heard). I picked up a second Terror Drome for $50, the $15 Temple mentioned above and a couple Battle Platforms for $12 during the TRU Rewards members pre-Black Friday sale. Also snagged a couple Firebat sets from their KayBee ebay store for $10 a piece with tax and shipping. Deals were to be had if you were looking. But I didn't think many here were interested in Kre-O so I didn't mention it (the ones I know that are collecting it are part of a Facebook group where I learned about the sales). |

I was really on the fence about this thing at $50 but kept holding off. At $35 minus my $5 rewards credit I had, it got ordered. But at the same time it's a little sad. The writing is on the wall regarding GIJoe Kre-o with the actions of late. The line is done. Then again, it seems the regular 3-3/4" line is also done. |

Kreo in general seems to not be hitting the market as they hoped. I got a couple Star Trek sets for my son, for nickels on the dollar. |

I don't think anyone can compete with Lego. I bet if GI Joe was Lego it would have done better. For me, the Kreo guys are too fragile for kids. The arms are gone in 2 seconds. |

No child focused media sells no toys. If they'd done a Kreo cartoon they'd have hit it out of the park. I'd have done a cartoon network/youtube half hour with a Joe, Transformers, and D&D in 10 minute short in pseudo lego style - Kid focused and irreverent. |
