I bought one of these Really Useful Storage box sets with a coupon at AC Moore the other day, came to just over $10.

I thought I could use these to store my growing collection of Marauder Inc weapons. Another longer than a AK-47 with attached bayonet won't fit (sniper rifles and RPGs).

Only issue so far is if the unit tips, all 16 boxes fall out, but if you have it flat on a desk, it shouldn't be an issue.

I like the design and thought the individual boxes might have a use in a dio.

Those are great containers. I use the larger ones to store vehicle WIPs and keep all the parts together and I also use the lids for those boxes as a portable work surface when cutting, trimming, etc. It protects the table I'm working on and catches all the little slivers and bits for easy clean up. Office Depot carries them I believe.

I've seen the individual boxes at Michaels, but not the carry box. That makes them more desirable with that. I do a lot of minis, and so WIPs would be cool in them.

I mostly use the plastic shoe boxes.
They are only a buck each. You can't go Wrong with that

That's a great idea, DJ. Not just for weapons, but for organizing random accessories, too.

That reminds me of a fishing tackle box. My dad and I did fishing quite a bit when I was younger, and living in Wisconsin, he had a box where the interior was just like that. But it folded out of a larger box that snapped shut at the top.

It was pretty durable, too. And big. You might check out some place like Bass Pro Shop. They may have compartments that are deeper then the ones you're using. The lures fishers use come in all sizes, so I expect they may have something to help you.

I did a quick look, and they have a lot of options. There are portable ones with nylon cases the tackle boxes go into. You wouldn't need that, obviously. But I'll bet that either Bass Pro, or even the Container Store, will have what you're needing.

If you find something to your liking, let us know. Good luck!!

Bill

I use something similar for my ARAH fodder. I think on average they hold about 60 figures.
