From JoeCon we learned that FSS 4 will contain the following:

Barricade I have no interest in this one.
Billy (Cobra Commander’s son) I will probably sell him as I was never a fan of him. He will be older Billy for those who weren't there.

Bullhorn I will keep him.
:interrogator:

Interrogator I had half started a custom on one.

Law & Order I hope they get his vest right. I don't like the POC's oversized badge at all.
Cobra Inferno B.A.T. I already have a buyer for this one.

Nunchuk Yay more Ninja Force but I'm not too happy since :tjbang:

is impossible to get.
Night Creeper (Ice Ninja) I'm not sure what I will do with this. Maybe make a DiC NCL.

Pathfinder Another custom I had planned.

Tiger Force Sneak Peek (UK Repaint) I guess I will keep him. I would have liked the Night Force one first.

The Inferno B.A.T. is a must-have for me. I'll be interested to see how Billy turns out, and, for that matter, Barricade, since I want to see what parts they use (I'm guessing some armor from Rise of Cobra). Overall, I think this is an interesting group of characters that are either long overdue for inclusion in the line in the first place (i.e. Billy), interesting variations (the B.A.T. and the Night Creeper), a decent international representation (Jammer and the UK Tiger Force -- and I'm looking forward to seeing Outback's T-shirt), and several characters that I'm pretty sure Hasbro would've never gotten around to that deserve their place in the modern line (Barricade, Nunchuk, Bullhorn, Pathfinder, Interrogator). In my opinion, the Club has chosen well.

I'm debating getting two subs again this time. I got two of FSS3.0 because there were a few figures I need for my MOC collection. But for FSS4.0 I only need 1, Law & Order. I'd like two of the Inferno B.A.T. because I have a feeling its going to have clear parts (unlike the NanoB.A.T.) but aside from those two figures I don't see a need for multiples of any others. I guess I'll wait and see the reveals before I decide but right now I'm leaning towards just one sub and hoping I can get a 2nd Law & Order to open.

So would you guys say they are worth it? I've heard them described as expensive kitbashes. Some of which look pretty freaking cool, but at the price point, I could also get some Acid Rain guys. What say you?

I like what the Club has been doing with the FSS, especially 3.0 and what's coming in 4.0. I'd rather spend the $35 (shipped) for a figure from a brand I know and love (G.I. Joe) than a figure from a property that I don't have any attachment to (Acid Rain). Are the FSS figures overpriced? Yes BUT when you take into account the small runs they are doing and the extensive paint apps and new tooling, to me its worth the cost. I'd rather have these closer to $25 (shipped) but I really like almost everything that I've gotten in the 2 FSS that I've subbed in on. Its all about what you want for your collection. For me, the FSS figures are what I want. If you're more into the Acid Rain stuff then I'd say go with what you love. You can always pick and choose from the FSS figures later when the Club puts them in their store.

With FSS 1 and 2, there were a few figures I liked. Most, however, I did not, so I did not buy into them. With FSS 3, I liked more than I did not, and signed up to buy a set. They are expensive, but not a lot of Joes have come out in the last couple of years, so I felt justified. Very curious to see how that Billy looks.

smart idea on the picking and choosing. Forgive my ignorance, but do you have to be a club member to get the FSS figures?
