So i happen to be reading ROM #1 and noticed that one of the characters looked really familiar. The look of his uniform made my nostalgia alarm go off. It dawned on me that he looked a lot like a GI Joe figure i had as a child. An Astronaut....

I googled and eventually found that the character was clearly an homage to Countdown v1. I went back a few pages and noticed the characters name .

Dubosky, David D.

That's no homage. That's actually Countdown.

I wont give away the rest but ..there is "more".

Not too surprising given the "Hasbro-verse" IDW is building, but that's still very cool.
