Saw a car commercial tonight for the KIA Sportage. The basis of the commercial is that the car's owner is seeking some sort of treasure. He stops at an antique shop and comes out with -- a classic, original 12" G.I. Joe figure, on box. He opens up the back of the vehicle and there's more classic G.I. Joe items back there, including what I think was the massive space capsule. Didn't really expect to see G.I. Joe in a car commercial like that.

If original, the toys are probably worth more than the car. |

Outstanding! Looks like he picked up a boxed Action Pilot to go along with the Space Capsule and an Action Marine (could have been an Action Soldier) and something in a green box I can't i.d. |

Thank you, LobsterOverlord! I find it fascinating (and very cool) that KIA came up with this commercial. I wonder what inspired them to do so? |
