I was wondering if the members who run Joecustoms every thought about seperating the Joes into different groups based on their construction. Basically devide the Joes into O-Ring/vintage style and ME/New style. IT would make it easier for members to look and discuss on the style of Joes they like best. I like both but my heart still is with O-Ring Joes. So sometimes its hard looking at post after post and not finding anything on O-Ring Joes |

You talking about your collection or the forum? The archive has tags you can sort by, I believe. But if you're talking about the forums you're pretty much hardcore SoL simply because there's so little being done with o-ring figures due in part to there not having been any made for a solid decade now. |

really wouldn't work on JC as myself and others have "no style", or I should say all styles I use anything that looks good, feels good, and works for a custom. there are "this and that" only sites, and they get less traffic than JC. I only post here, and if more members only posted here, I think we would draw more people. |

Also, a lot of us are old. Really old. And have been in the online Joe community since the advent of widespread internet in the 90s. So much info is already out there about the o-ring style run that isn't much new to talk about. That doesn't mean that interest has waned. When new info is discovered about the vintage run, pretty much everyone chimes in. Even though a lot of folks' primary interest is with the modern figs, most of us have a soft spot for the Joes we grew up with. If Hasbro did a 180 and started releasing o-ring style sculpts again, I bet you'd see a lot more threads on o-ring Joes. But right now, there just isn't anything to say that hasn't been said a dozen times over. |
