I don't know anything about these but i thought perhaps the Chap Mei fans might find the pictures useful in some way. I came across these recently .

Huh. Those are Chap Mei molds slightly tweaked. I'd kind of like the tents from the first set and the med supplies sprue from the bottom one.

There's more effort into the packaging then the toys themselves.

Chap Mei got bought out by a Hasbro/Mattel partnership, you say?

I've seen those at a zoo before and wondered if they were chap mei. Of course that was before I got into customs otherwise I would have bought them all.
