Friend of mine from England sent me these as a slightly belated but still very welcome birthday present. Notably, we have the first female figure in the line, Kayo Kyrano, and check out the crazy robot that Brains comes with!

I got the Brains and M.A.X. set when it first popped up on Amazon, and the robot is actually kind of awesome. He's got a ball-jointed head, a shoulder set-up that approximates ball-jointed-ness (it's not an actual ball joint, but rather two joints very close to each other that perform the same two functions), swivel elbows, a joint at the base of the neck, joints at the hips that let the legs move up and down (but not side to side), and the wheel-feet things spin and have a joint to pivot at the ankle.

Not sure when they're due out, but earlier in the year Vivid previewed the repaints that they're planning as "covert ops". Basically all of the pilots including Kayo but in black with colour sashes. I may get a few to use as teenage Xmen to go with my Hood figure that I use as Prof X.

Yeah, my friend told me about the repaints. Not a lot of interest there myself, but I can see as how the darker colors would be useful here.

Wish they'd do Lady Penelope and Parker figures.
