After seeing that wave 1 of this line was somewhat GI Joe compatible I preordered wave 2 from Big Bad Toy Store. At $65 plus shipping it worked out to $10 more than buying them in person from Toys R Us.
Bunsen Honeydew and Beaker
I was least excited about these guys but they came with some accessories I'm sure to make use of. The coats restrict movement but it is a really soft rubber so they aren't quite static either. The one weird thing. They came with figure stands but don't have holes for them in their feet.

Even GeneralsJoes approves of the accessories. I wish they were more playable like being able to remove the test tubes from the wrack but they were unexpected so I'm not complaining.

Animal was a big draw for me to preorder the wave. I like the Palisades version but having a Joe scaled version with this much articulation is great. The downside is the drum set. Everything is really light and not balanced that well. It looks nice but everything keeps falling over when people walk by it or breath near it. I'm debating gluing everything down to a base.

Now for the main reason I got the whole wave. These guys' preorder sold out pretty fast. And for good reason. The figures are really well done for crotchety old men (present company excluded, hi joemichaels70) plus they come with their screen accurate balcony seats to mock my every move.

I told you all that to tell you this.
