My Kickstarter rewards showed up first thing this morning so I tore right into them.
I got 2 of the Deluxe set and an additional carded figure. The figure looks great on the card and I can’t wait to get it signed eventually.
The metal trading card is very cool though the signed sticker they included is a simple paper sticker and not something more substantial like a thin vinyl. But it does the job.
The other trading card is just ridiculously fun.
He comes with 5 sets of hands in addition to the open hip holding hands he’s wearing - 1 pair of fists, 2 pair of grips and 2 pair of pistol grips.
The articulation is on par with other 3rd party figures. Balljoint head, swivel-hinge shoulders and elbows, balljoint waist and hips, double-joint knees and swivel-hinge ankles and wrists. Everything moved easily enough on the one I opened though the left hip popped out really easily. It popped back on with no problems but I might need to drill it out a bit deeper to get it to stay on. I haven’t tried swapping hands yet as I like the card art pose, but when I do I’ll be boil and popping for sure.
The “bonus” reward for the delays is pretty cool and you can see it in the pictures.
Overall I’m happy to finally get these in my hands. And I’m anticipating the Eagle Force figures even more now that I’ve gotten a taste of what they’ll be like.
