Hey Guys it's been a few! Just curious if Hasbro ever released actual figure sales. Which was the top selling? Or were they produced evenly? (Original Run) Worst selling? |

If you look at various old interviews with some Hasbro people, they will mention production runs from time to time. Back in the '90's, Hasbro was a lot more forthcoming with numbers. Now, that info is closely held except in instances of exclusives or, maybe, variants. (There were, famously, 20,000 of the 2002 Wave 3 Snake Eyes figures produced.) We were able to get some exclusive production numbers from the Toys R Us computers in the 2000's. But, the general retail stuff was kept secret. For vintage figs, there are lots of estimates. And, most of the numbers blow anything produced today away by a laughable margin. |
