Anyone know if Big Lots buys World Peacekeeper toys every year, or do they just mostly drag out old stock every Christmas? I'd like to pick up some helos, but the stores I've hit around here just seem to have the dregs from previous years. Since those things never go on clearance, I wondered if they had just bought a ton of toys once, and are still trying to get rid of them. |

Yes they got new ones in. Yet those that I saw were just repacks of previous sets. |

I saw both versions of the bombed out buildings on Saturday. Unless they get more of those vehicles that already look like Oktober Guard vehicles or the Quonset Hut, I will probably pass on stuff. Already got four of those vehicles to turn in Oktober Guard, Chinese, Cuban, or North Korean vehicles. |

I did see a tower set on clearance months ago, in part because the new tower set is smaller box with just one figure. Based on a planogram I saw, it's gonna be the same-old-same old mostly. I did see a Blackhawk for $30. Not sure they shipped those last year. Other stuff I saw: The ruined buildings (both versions) 4 regular Humvees (no arctic) The amphibian and Jeeps sets. Tent and bunk sets. People are finding the camel/horse/paratrooper/motorcycle sets again. I doubt we'll ever seen the old command post again. Or the Abrams. It's been awhile since they were around. |

They do not clearance because they always sell out before it is time to restock. They start stocking in roughly September. I do not think that they even keep stocking all the way till Christmas. Probably only ship new stuff in for a couple of months. They only get 2 of the helicopters per case. I just bought both of the helicopters at my local Big Lots to turn into Air Wolf. Plan on building 2 so I can keep one and sell the other. |

They usually clearance them, it's just that there's rarely many left by the time they do. |

If you search Click 'N Play on Amazon you'll see some of the other sets. Looks like they may have bundled the smaller sets into bigger value packs, tent, campfire, SEAL etc in one big set. |

They increased their price to $75.99 The HQ is still a good price at $50. I think I paid $45 at Big Lots when I got mine. I can't find the Abrams on there. (I'll take offers on mine) |
