Found this RC truck on Ebay. It is shipping out of China so will take a couple weeks to get here. It is listed as 1/16 and the measurements make it sound like it should be pretty close in scale. I figure that the doors do not open but that is fixable. It appears that all the motors are in the chassis so should not be in the way. Looks like it should be a lot of fun and even more fun if it is actually in scale.

It will be a little big but I'm sure you'll be able to do something really cool with it.

I am not sure. Will not know until it gets here but if the measurements are right it sounds like it should be dead on for 1/18.

States it is 13" x 5.5" x 5.5"
That converts to 19.5' x 8'3" x 8'3"
Real truck is ------- 23' x 9'3" x 7'9" That length is on a double axle so 3.5 feet shorter for single axle seems close I would guess
-------------------------(height^)

OK got it in the mail. The RC is so-so but I did not really get it for the RC. Scale is dead on perfect. Will take a picture soon.

I was wrong about the RC capabilities. Must have been a battery issue or something. I got it back out tonight and the RC was functioning much better.

Scale may be Slightly on the small side (looking at seating room for when I start cutting) but all of Joe vehicles are on the small side. Over all I put it next to a VvsV Humvee and it was pretty much dead on for scale.

That is cool.

I saw this in the sellers other items, I'm tempted to buy a couple Image https://m.ebay.com/itm/1-14-Indian-Motor-Tricycle-Force-Return-Simulation-Alloy-Model-Car-w-Light-Music-/152794765575?skus=Color:Black&varId=452501106753 Common civilian vehicles are so hard to find in scale at a reasonable price everything made in 1/18th seems to either be a massive truck or a corvette. I just want a Camry or something but when they make them they're like 50 dollars on ebay

scale is probably close enough to adapt and would probably work. The only problem I see is that it is diecast. I know lots of people do Diecast but I try to avoid it.

after sawing the nose off the diecast car I used for madmax I won't be using diecast either if mods are involved! took a hacksaw with brand new blade and it still about broke my spirit. i'm not sure what is in the cast metal, but it acts like iron!

Only modding I ever do to diecast is color and make the interior fit joes
