I spotted the Grant, Muldoon and jp1 female lead... at the Target on 281 and tpc pkwy outside San Antonio, Tx In person Grant's likeness is the best, the female is forgettable and plain, likewise for Muldoon |

Putting things up early like that can get people in trouble. I work in the back room at a store and got a good look at some of the basic carded figures, myself. They look pretty cool! Not a fan of the assortment proportions, though...the case I looked in had 3 regular Owens, 3 armored Owens, and 1 Mercenary. Yikes. |

Just read last night that the JW Legacy Collection (Grant, Muldoon, and Sattler) are Target exclusives. Which also explains why I've seen some of those T-Rex boxes on ebay that don't show Grant and Muldoon on the back. |

The Walmart in Garfield broke the street date on Mattel's "Jurassic World" line! It looks like Walmart's exclusives are battle damaged (red paint apps resembling "slashes") versions of the regular dinosaurs in the line. I bought the exclusive versions of the Mega Collossal T-Rex (It is HUGE!) and a smaller exclusive T-rex packed with a small green dinosaur. |

TEACH ME YOUR WAYS OH WISE ONE You can either take seats from an scrap vehicle and cut and paste them into the configuration you need or start from scratch. Here is a RC vehicle which I am currently opening the cab up and adjusting the seats to allow leg room. Took the cab off. Then took the seats out. Cut out the floorboards. Next step on this part will be building new floorboards with more leg room. ![]() ![]() Also started on the doors. This is very easy. Just took a utility knife and followed the grooves several times until cut through. Next will need to trim/sand the edges and then start making hinges. ![]() ![]() started building the new floor board. Building it as low as possible for more leg room but had to raise it in the center to fit over the frame of the truck. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Also started forming the hinges. Took using a small styrene tube, a piece of wire just the right size to fit in the tube and a sheet of .050 styrene. I started by cutting 6 tabs out of the Styrene. I lined them up and measured the tube to check my length. Cut a piece of tube, then I ran the wire down in the tube. This is important if you are using super strong chemical to melt/weld the styrene. The wire makes sure that the styrene tube does not warp and colapse due to the chemical glue. I then applied PVC cleaner (this starts softening and melting the plastic) followed by a little multi purpose plumbing cement. Then glued them together. The next step will be to cut the hinges apart, super glue the ends onto the wire and attach the doors to the truck. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

BigDayOne wrote: thats some great work, I don't have a lot of vehicle fodder, you got a guide to making seats ? If you want to build the seats from scratch then you need to get a sheet of styrene and a set of seats you want to replicate and just go for it modeling the seats after the model you are using. Seats are not hard to build just cutting and gluing. Much easier would be to stop at a couple thrift stores when you get a chance. Go to the toy section and grab any vehicle with the right scale seats and dash board. Usually only a couple bucks. Often find those Walmart and Bass Pro adventure trucks. Then you just cut and add plastic where needed for the right fit. I rarely build seats from total scratch. It is just so much easier to take an existing set of seats and adapt it. What ever you do each build has to develop around what you are putting the seats in. I personally highly recommend using pvc plumbing cement and cleaner to make the welds and then sand them to clean them up after drying. |

Looks like Mattel also made the JP Jeep Wrangler from the first film, under their Matchbox name. It is part of the Target exclusive Legacy line, and the back of the box shows that the Legacy figures can fit in it. Also shows an Ian Malcolm figure sitting in there too!I https://www.ebay.com/itm/Jurassic-World ... 7675.l2557 |

Well, I signed up for the Mattel Rewards thing on their website and hoped the Jurassic World vehicles would be available soon. Got a 20% off promo code, but it expired on the 8th. No response to email inquiry to customer service. |
