I found these in two in a box I forgot about: I´m familiar with the American Defense figures, but I didn't know these vehicles exist. I cannot find anything about them online (yet). Though they must be made by Remco, there's no brand logo on the box, instructions or vehicle parts. I think I'm gonna sell the Battle Copter, (not sure about the Hovercraft) so I'm looking for more information. Back of the boxes: Inserts, still in sealed bag: The only "stamp" I can find is "China", but pretty remarkable: the A is upside down: All info is welcome! |

nice! I like the box art for sure. though the vehicle pics on the back don't have that dramatic action. still in bags is amazing! wonder why the "A" in china is upside down. might be a non Chinese made china bootleg.... |

Those are beautiful. I have that hovercraft loose, but I don't know much about it: I bought it on eBay a couple of years ago. The graphics on the package match this this one, and since the Remco American Defense figures were similarly K-Mart exclusives, I'm guessing these were their first attempt. I'll be keeping an eye on eBay for these! Also, it really seems like that Battle Copter is a combination of the FANG and Sky Hawk designs, right down to the placement of the chin guns and the missiles on the skids. |

I don't know a lot of info on these, but I believe National Defense was a knock-off of Remco and Galoob molds by Agglo. Neat find! |

Fun fact that I just discovered about these vehicles: whichever company originally made the molds (and MarkM's answer looks much more correct than my guess), they must have either sold or leased them to Olmec for their first Bronze Bombers line. The hovercraft and helicopter are both identical to the Bronze Bombers versions, except the BB helicopter is molded in what looks to be a dark green. |

Yeah, pretty sure they aren't Remco. Those appeared in Galoob-mold using knock-offs like National Defense after being used for the non-Remco first year of K-Mart's American Defense. Then they were used by Olmec. American Defense was K-Mart's house knock-off brand name. You can google it and find Galoob molds, Remco's swivel arm figure and the later IMPACT/Adventure Man t-crotch molds in American Defense packaging. |
