Is it just me, or has Larry Hama's G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero comic for IDW steadily gotten worse over time? I haven't found the stories to be nearly as interesting.

RAH was the last IDW Joe comic and the last one I bought was the alternate toy cover from a couple of years ago. I want to be into it, but in this era of unlimited entertainment, the bang for your buck just isn’t there for me. That has less to do with Hama’s writing and more on my overall comicbook opinion. I’m glad they are there, I’m just not into it.

I think some of the best issues in the new series were the recent "Special Missions" stories.

I stuck with it until a few months ago. It's terrible. Nothing happens in an issue. In the original series so much could happen in one issue. In this series it takes 6 issues. And at $4 a comic that's $24 for a small storyline. Larry, what happened bro?

I haven't purchased single issue in a few years, but have been going to amazon once a year or so and stocking up on the trades. I don't recall having actually read many of them though...between the female Snake Eyes, and the giant alien Eyeball under the Pitt, my interest has severely waned.
