| Post subject: | About Shooter... |
With the mildly retconned inclusion of Shooter into the ARAH mythos, how exactly did she fit in with the other Joes? I've never read any of the comic book stuff that she's appeared in. I ask because I'm working on a custom set that would include the OG13 Joes left out of the Stars 'n Stripes Forever set. However, it is only 5 figures (I included Hawk because the Kenner A-10 Hawk was the leather jacket Hawk, not the earlier uniform). But I want to add an additional figure to nudge it closer to the Kenner SNSF set, which had 8 figures in it. Shooter was the best candidate. But I'm not really sure on the character dynamics. Did the other Joes meet/know Shooter? Did Shooter actually die prior-to/outside of GI Joe #1? Or did she go missing/captured with the possibility for a return? Any Shooter knowledge would be appreciated! |

In the GI Joe Declassified comic she was depicted as black ops that Hawk knew previously. She was more senior than most of the other Joes who. If I remember correctly at the Chaplin's School, the other Joes didn't even know at first she was part of the team. She was KIA while providing cover fire during the Lady Doomsday rescue op. |

Thanks! I thought the character was not viable for a SASF2 set (following Marvel/IDW lore), but now I know. And, yes, that's half the battle. |
