Hisstank broke news that Walmart computers are reporting a 4" Retro line. But what exactly do you think that means?

Dang it, Darkling is a codename I came up with in mid to late 90s...got a bio all written up too.

Hm.

If these are o-ring reissues...i'll likely pick up a few. Possibly more if they use the flexible lower arm plastic material that prevented thumbs from breaking like they did 20 years ago. I personally don't have a need for the vintage o-ring figures despite my love for true 3 3/4''

If this goes beyond simply reissuing vintage molds i'm definitely interested .

....if they actually look like they'd fit in with vintage figures but with non-breaking thumbs... I could be tempted. Card art is going to make or break it I think.

Following the recent "reliable source" that told us that they saw great GIJoe figures from Jazwares in Germany, I'll stay prudent about all this.

If this is indeed a retro, O-Ring ARAH line then I'm in. The 2000 figures were and still are pretty cool.
ARAH never was a Kenner style line of figures, so I really doubt that they would take that road unless they plan on releasing Action Force.

I'll be very disappointed if the so called retro line is 5 or 6" figures on ARAH style cards.

At mass retail for sure..... Super 7 might be able to get away with it? Especially if they managed to capture cartoon colors and likeness perfectly.

A Retro line and the only classic name is the HISS, I'm interested but leery.

Don't some of the other Hasbro lines use code names for product retail listings before they're officially announced? I feel like Star Wars has used them before.

Yeah, when the 6 inch line was first leaked, they used place-holder names before the official reveal. Marvel Legends has done that before too.

It wouldn't surprise me if these were ARAH figures (maybe made without the o-ring mechanic) on repro vintage cards.

Look at Hasbro's retro collection Star Wars figures.

Plus Wal-Mart already has exclusive Transformers retro figures. Classic G1 figures on retro cards / in retro boxes.

A perspective:

Despite being a life long ARAH supporter ...

I'm more interested in Lanards current Corps figures than vintage o-ring figures generally speaking.
