I have a bad feeling these won't be HACKS and probably won't even be 1:18. Prior licenses that are the "right scale" have mentioned HACKS in the release. Licenses that are in different scales have been more vague so as to not stomp out interest. Could be wrong - would like to be. Either way, good on them for getting another nice looking deal. With this promo pic I'm sure they'll be 18th; but I can' imagine how they can do anybody but the comics-style White Violin with the current bucks. The real issue is that I don't think the license could support full series of both show and comics figures; so the question is which style will they sink new mold costs into?

The press release says the deal is with UCP the company behind the show. And the quotes in the release mention the show and the character designs from both seasons so these will be the Netflix series versions. I doubt the license extends to the comic versions as it is likely through Dark Horse or Gerard Way directly. |
