I've been working on something like this for a while but kept getting stalled out on progress. https://www.nostalgiany.com/products/future?fbclid=PAAaY5PmSgk4bvWR_6MT4x7RMPFuyZab7bNRnhBAEe7B3vn1CwlgSosl2N0PY I can't vouch for the website, the ad just came up on my IG feed and I wanted to share, scale looks Joe compatible. |

I saw this on FB. Not feeling the lighting effect. Looks like a generic repeating LED infinity mirror with a Stargate wrapper. Not for me but your mileage may vary. |

You're not wrong. It needs something to diffuse the LEDs. If it weren't some random website I'd probably bite and see if I could salvage it. |

it doesn't read well for sure, like a bad translation. also i noticed the lighted version is $89 not $59. it never said whether you get 2 or just 1 for that price. it also doesnt mention the little table. i like the lights, but i can't even remember what the movie gate looked like. was it swirly or an energy effect? it's a non issue for me since i don't have the $$, and if i did there is a lot on my list before stargate. |

I have a fantasy dungeon infinity mirror I got off of Think Geek. It is neat for set dressing and wall mounted figure display, but unless you need a huge running hallway or in this case tube, it has limitations. Does it save space? Yes absolutely. Is it neat? Yes. Does it have limited applications because it is a mirror best used with low light in only certain settings? Again, yes. At its best blending in and setting some nice ambiance. Attachment: In this instance, I intentionally used what it looks like in normal light to show off the figures back, but this is the major drawback, especially for small scale action figure photography. You not only have the mirror creating reflections but the clear glass/plastic in front of it creating reflections. Attachment: And just the nature of the Stargate, something people walk through. It seems like you'd be better served carving your own gate out of foam and then either using photoshop or smoke and lights, if you prefer a more practical effect to pull it off. Attachment:

As a straight up decorative piece in your living room or wherever I'm sure it would look good. But for toy diorama purposes I don't think the cost of the lighting effect is worth what you get. As pluv said there are easier ways to get a better effect. |

The dude that made these posted videos on Youtube. I'm pretty sure this is a straight-up scam. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EnIeONEcSGc |
