I *hope* it's not just Space Marines.
Necrons and Orks would be nice.
I assume based on their background with "mech" types we'd get Tau.

Man, I need Necrons and Tyrannids but I *want* Tau most of all.

....there was a time I'd have been slightly giddy about Space Marines. That was long ago.

I need tyranids. Everyone needs tyranids but they don't know it. They need tyranids attacking every hero fighting force they own regardless of scale .

I'll be watching (and making my own) until they are released.

I have some great memories of playing Warhammer 40k and painting up the miniatures (still have a squad somewhere).
I will definitely be picking up at least a few of these.

Patrick Chen lightened JT's promo pic and it looks bad-goddamn-ass:

Yeah, cool for 40k fans but I don't need any Space Marine parts. If they got into some of the less recognizable factions, that could be some fun fodder.

I might get a couple for some bigger amored customs, Dark Trooper or Bad Batch's Wrecker. I just need to see how well they scale with other 1:18 first.

Hell, I'm folding all of whatever W40K I get under Kang, the Conqueror. He slips in quite easily as that stupidly-named putz Khorne, imho. Once they get around to Tau and Eldar and Tyrannid is when the "LASER BLAST" will really hit the financial fan.

...I have to be honest...I won't be buying many at all just due to price (I'm betting 60-70 per figure?) but I'm excited to see what they do AND if they at least try to get scale right.

I can't get to the individual URLs for the pics so you'll have to look for yourself:
