hopefully these are all close enough likenesses everyone can tell who's who. beachhead unmasked is what i remember him looking like in the cartoon iirc. sam jackson doesn't look young so maybe he is the senior officer, or just squad leader. i was toying around with another squad name before and considered changing hawks real name to something harris, but now i could make the sam jackson characters real name calvin harris.
millionaire military contractor calvin harris (code name blackhawk) who funds/is funded by so many politicians secret agendas he can do pretty much whatever he wants. it's the late 70's /early 80's and he has selected a few young guns strait from the officer enlistment data base. he intends to train these soldiers to hunt terrorists and fugitives all over the world. focusing on the team rather than each soldier is their mantra, they are "Harris's Hawks".
they haven't earned their joe codenames yet, but later the joe "hawk" adopts that codename when his mentor calvin harris is kia. though really all their joe codenames were things harris started calling them. duke looked like a 50's kid off to the sock hop, so harris started singing "duke of earl" whenever he came around. flint was what was needed to start a fire and harris knew which buttons to push to set the young man off. airborn is pretty self explanatory the cadence song "i wanna be an airborn ranger" seemed to be humming in harris's head when this lunatic was around. and lastly beachhead not because he was a surfer or even liked the beach, but because of the nasty chaw he chewed and spit everywhere . beech nut turned to beech head and later beach head.
just a rambling thought of who and why
when i first wanted to make a team called harris's hawks i wanted them to be 5 kids on bmx bikes same millionare, but crime fighting in one local not military at all.
