Cobra Easter egg in Star Trek TNG

In Star Trek: TNG S5:E19 "The First Duty" shows a little ship called the Star Fleet Academy Trainer. It's not on screen for vary long but there's a small indiscernible marking on the nose. I've looking at some of the Star Trek studio models online and I noticed the symbol on the nose. I guess the modeler was a Joe fan. https://memory-alpha.fandom.com/wiki/Academy_trainer_craft

I believe there is a special feature on the Star Trek IV dvd that shows several JOE figures being used during a sequence being used for the time travel sequence.

Somewhere I have screencaps I took of it.

That’s so cool, I know it’s an Easter egg, but wouldn’t it be cool if Starfleet salvaged some of their ships from Cobra’s arsenal?

Maybe not Cobra salvage. But this ship appeared in Deep Space 9. It's an Intrepid Class married to an F-14 turned backwards. https://www.ex-astris-scientia.org/articles/ds9tm.htm
