https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/news/ ... 235060895/ Looks like the G.I.Joe (and other Hasbro IPs) could be leaving IDW and moving to Image/Skybound. Personally I’ve enjoyed the majority of IDW’s Joe books. “Cobra” was a fantastic book and remains in my top five favorite modern comics runs. The ARAH continuation by Larry Hama has been a steady workhorse keeping the brand alive. And though the big “Revolution” crossover / single universe idea didn’t last it did bring some new energy into the line. But other than the ARAH book, nothing has really stuck as far as relaunches go. I’m intrigued to see what a Skybound style Joe book might look like. |

I'm really curious how they handle this....like I honestly don't follow Image too closely. Do they do licensed books? How does it work with their "creative owned" ethos? But also...shoot... I want to work on some Joe pitches. |

Interesting. I wonder if Hama will make the move along with the I.P. or if he is ready to stop and let someone else take over (assuming Skybound would want him) ? |
