Has anyone bought one of these recently-produced Funskool jeep based on the old VAMP mold? I'm thinking of buying a couple to bash together into a single 4-seater. How's the plastic quality? Also, what's up with the rivets?

The quality is nice. I bought some with plans of modifying them into Adventure Team rides and such. The stickers are paper stickers and a pain to clean off, I will tell you that. But overall, they're good pieces to have.

You're welcome! Also, just noticed the question about the rivets. Those are actually what hold the rollbar onto the chassis.

That's what I figured. Still, seems odd to me that they'd add a riveting step to the manufacturing process. Whatever works, I guess.

might be a plastic quality issue for the need to rivet like that. or a money issue like $$$ to buy a stronger plastic type vs the rivets.
