I'm trying to figure out what could be considered the worst combination of ugly ARAH parts. In the end I want to compose a figure of those parts and challenge myself to customize and paint it to make it look more acceptable, sometime in this new year. (Perhaps more customizers want to join me in this challenge, then we could make it a community project.)
I already made a list myself of parts which I think aren't favorite of most collectors. The parts required to come from "regular" figures, so no Cobra La, Star Brigade aliens or Street Fighter. They also had to be easily available or kinda cheap, I don't want to buy the expensive Cobra Air Devil and take it apart for this. Some obvious parts are left out, because I already have a WIP laying around including that part (Annihilator head and Track Viper for example).

If I could vote for Armadillo 3 times, I would. That head and specifically face, is just ugly.

I've always hated the Steel Brigade helmet. It looks...stupid. Reminded me of a knock-off Star Wars droid head.
Windmill has a terrible helmet.
For #3 went with Tele-Viper...its a bad sculpt of a questionable design.

Went with only the televiper head. Not a fan of helmeted troop builders that show skin on the head. The anonymity of the helm/visor is what builds the troop builders.

I voted for Tele-Viper just because it was no way as cool as the cartoon depicted it, but if I choose from the whole line, I'd go with Lift Ticket.

Clean Sweep looks like a dork lol. However compared to a few other figures the head sculpt is tolerable. As silly as Windmill's head sculpt is ...with some sculpting you could make something interesting.

Steel Brigade, Televiper and Armadillo ( in no specific order ) however ...fack me LMAO. Even The Chin known as Armadillo could be salvaged (he reminds me of a Dick Tracey character who was shoehorned into the ARAH line).

From this list, I went with Tele-Viper, Windmill, and Destro 92. Tele-Viper looks a lot like childhood friend's dad, so I have some affection for that sculpt, but it's an objectively bad piece. Windmill's helmet is, as mentioned earlier, not awesome, and his expression is equally un-awesome. And the Destro head is both too small (something that the ARAH line was amazingly good at avoiding) and too harsh.

But, if the entire line is the pool, then Cross-Country and Lift-Ticket are in there, too. Lift-Ticket's head has a certain so-bad-it's-good charm, but it's a ridiculous sculpt. Cross-Country is not welcome in my home for a wide variety of reasons, his hideous head being the least of them. But, still, it's a hideous head.
