I'm thinking about displaying some of my Joe choppers and I need a rough guestimate on the weight of the Tomahawk and the NAC. I just want to make sure I find the right stuff to support their weight from the ceiling |

I typically use hooks (the kind for coffee cups) and fishing line. For heavier stuff, like Night Ravens, I use heavy duty hooks from Home Depot. Those heavy duty ones are called drywall something or other, and cost around $2 each. They screw right into the ceiling. |

I think he is talking about what test fishing line would be best for them ZG. Both the Tomahawk and NAC should be fine if you use 10 pound test line. |

I agree with both posts. Those Hercules hooks are pretty sturdy and easy to mount. 10lbs. should be plenty. I've had a Ratter hanging with 10 lbs. for 3 years and no issues so far. |

Yeah, I should've been more clear, I was looking for what kind of line to use. Out of curiousity though, does the Tomahawk tip the scales past a few pounds or would it be closer to 5lbs? |

Home depot has a section with anchors, they are rated with how much weight they will support.. most common anchors will work for joe vehicles you might want to use 2 for the tomahawk, I used fishing line as my wire for it. and fishin lines are also measured in pound strength. |
