With Hasbro using repaints( multible CCs) ,using same body-different head( O13 with SE's body) or a combination of both( FF/BH or SJ/WW),in the 25th Ann. line, what reuses/repaints whould you guys find acceptible or would like to see?

for instance, any O13 in a tan version. has historical revelance in tan Grunt and tan Clutch( a new tan Clutch most be included with Vamp mark 2) Seeing a tan Hawk, Breaker or even SE would be nice.

Another, "Air Viper" made from Wild Weasel( blue flight suit with grey & black trim). Like taking the Hiss Driver(trooper) and making Rip it(indivadual character) but going the other way, using a character to make a trooper. hey somebody needs to man the turrent in the Rattler while WW is flying.

This is my opinion, what do you guys think?

I'd say for the most part what Hasbro is doing now is working (other than recycling those damn Duke arms) so I have no complaints. While we'd all love to see new sculpts for every new figure it just isn't going to happen.

What I'd like to see is the rest of the O13 done in the same way they've done so far, a mix of new parts (like Clutch and Steeler's new boots) so they all look similar. I'd also love to see Cover Girl done using the Lady Jaye torso with new arms and legs.

Really anything they throw at us right now, as long as its a new character and the parts work together I think I'd be okay with.

I like what Hasbro is doing so far with the 25th line (now that they have fixed the hip/crotch issue that is) and have no problem with the reuse/repaint of parts that they have been doing so far. I especially like that the original 13 look closely the same like they did when they first came out (Hasbro did a good bit of part reuse there... even most of the heads just had different painted hair) and the various repaints of the basic Cobra trooper and officer are great (those and the CGs were always my favorite Cobra troops... never did care much for the various Vipers). To be honest this line is making me feel like a kid again when G.I.Joe first hit the shelves. And now that Hasbro is only 4 characters away (unless I miss counted in my "old" age) from doing remakes of all the original 13 I am hyped. Granted there are some other characters I would like to see but I do hope they keep on with the parts reuse thing so all the members have a somewhat uniform look (something they really got away from as the original line progressed).

Actually they are only 2 away now (Zap and Short Fuse) with the release of Clutch and Steeler announced at Toyfair.
They already have released Snake Eyes, Scarlett, Hawk, Stalker, Flash, Grand Slam (comming with the Shark) Breaker, Grunt (coming in the chain of command 3 pack) and Rock n Roll

SWEET!!!! Surly we'll see the last two during 2008. Or it may be that the Greenshirts from the Firefly vs. the Greenshirts pack can be modded into Zap and Short Fuze.
I saw they are doing a Python Patrol Trooper now too. I hope the do the Officer and CG in the Python theme as well. I'm sort of surprised they didn't do them in a battle pack like the Night Watch (but maybe that is on down the road).

Short Fuse and Zap still need to be made using the SE body. They should have different legs used just to mix things up a bit. Maybe the Gung Ho legs.

The battle damaged SE figure, with a new head, would be good for Ripcord.

Battle Armor CC in the '97 colors.

CC, Destro, and the Baroness with collared trenchcoats to match the winter uniforms seen in the cartoon.

Jamarmiller's idea of repaints for foreign figures is good.
