I saw a mention of these in another thread and did some looking into them and they seem to be pretty good.
What I was wondering though is what size works best with 3 3/4" figures? I thought I would ask some of the people here that have used them before instead of buying up a bunch of different sizes and ending up with several I don't need (I'm cheap like that).
So, which sizes work best in the hips, shoulders, knees and elbows joints?

They come on a sprue, with different sizes, i think the smallest is good for wrists and the next size is good for elbows/knees, you are probably going to have to buy at least 4 of them to get what you need. Unless you can have somebody cast multiples of the size you want. I'd like that. :-)

Yeah, your only choice is in the color. They come on a trading-card sized sprue with parts for 3 small, 3 medium, 4 large, and 1 giant ball joint, and 'cap spikes' to lock them closed.

The only complaint I've ever heard about HLJ is that their turnaround time is slow. Otherwise, their communications and packing/shipping are beyond professional. Seeing as how all this stuff comes straight from Japan, a) I don't have a problem with the wonky turnaround time (they don't have the same sleep schedule we do, so emailing's not as immediate as one is accustomed to), and b) shipping takes longer simply because they're farther away.

Additionally, it behooves your wallet to order in bulk to maximize your shipping savings. The shipping estimate they give in the upper right corner is for shipping that individual item, and shipping in bulk is always cheaper on the whole.

And HLJ is the only site I know to get these from.

What's the degree of motion of these deals? Would it be worth my time to bother with these...or should I just pick up a Juno Eclipse when I find Marris Brood in need of knee insertion.?

They've got about 190-degree motion, but could be filed to get about 270-degree, I'd think.
