TNI: Exactly what will people have to do to get the very cool-looking Doc mail-away figure shown at this year's Con?

Hasbro: To get Doc, fans will have to send in 5 proof of purchase stickers from the Comic Packs.

Perhaps its not Joe related at all. He may have actually gone camping and not had a good time.

I don't want the comic packs. The only one I was considering getting was Hawk & Scarlett. Most of the others are just repaints.

The old comic packs or the new ones? Because there only three coming out right away, right?.The Drednok pack is later. That'd be quite silly.

Guess they're really keeping customizers in mind? Who knows what they have in ming though. There could be tons of variants...

5 packs?!!?? So, you'd have to buy at least two multiples of Wave 1 - which are just repaints - to get Doc? Or, hope they are still around and wait oh-so patiently for Wave 2? Does anyone have a B***S*** smilie?

If that's the case, and they wanted to use existing tooling for the Wave 1 packs, why not do an army-builder set with a Cobra Trooper and Officer? Or Stinger Driver? Or two gas-mask troopers less jump pack and redo the Lady Jaye comic?

be patient,.. they're comming.....

I see many 25th customs using comic pack figures in our future.

5 packs? That's a bit... excessive.

Can people use all those flag points and the UPC things from the new sculpt era instead/ addition? If not that's a shame. I barely bought those items and I still have a pile of those things around here somewhere.

And I'm wondering if Doc will be available carded less than a year later. I got suckered into getting CC, Maj Bludd, and Duke as mail-aways (had it not been for the swivel-arm reissues I never would have gotten the flag points) and they were all carded a couple of months after getting them in the mail :-/

They're working on a Flagg Point redemption system for Doc. This was mentioned at the Con.

And I kinda doubt he'll be released carded as is Chief. Maybe in a different uniform or something, but exclusives mean something different than they did in 1982.

Actually, I asked the question at the con about the flag points. I think Hasbro isnt gonna deal with that, I miight be the Collectors club that may be doing the flag points...

Although they did say there were going to talk about the flag points back at Patucket,.. so maybe,...

as for the 5 packs, they mentioned that They like Army builders, so we may actually see more 5 pacs of single style fighres rathar than the CObra legions.

..but seeing that the designers and Managers were joe fans, and the upcomming movie hype, WHo knows what we'll see.....Hell We Might just see the Flagg again in 2010!
