Hey guys, is the price for admission anywhere? I looked everywhere I could and found only the date and location. Depending on how much I may get to go this year, so I'm trying to get the info together.

As far as I know, they haven't put up registration or anything yet. Nice of them to take their time.

Any Idea how soon we're gonna get details on the set/ vehicles?

Details are supposedly going to start coming out with the April newsletter.

so... two months to decide, for fence-riders.... which is a fail, imo, since their 'reveals' of everything take two months...

of course, i just might be feeling pissy today...

And don't forget that the speedy and efficient information dispersal medium of the newsletter means many of us won't get the information until only a month to go! Woot for increased dues for color pictures in a primitive and outdated information dissemination medium!

/Last time I looked, *everyone's* monitor was in color.

At least their website and discussion board are consistent with todays technology. Oh wait, it sucks too.

As a "fence rider", I am waiting to see the brochure (prices, tours, events, etc) before I decide whether or not I am going. If the brochure comes out too late for me to book an affordable flight/rental car, then I won't be attending, and I will bring this to MasterCollector's attention.

They provided the date of the convention and location 2 months ago in the newsletter. Why would having details like the price of attendance and schedule of events be important for making travel arrangements? It is almost as if you people do not trust the Club's track record of putting together an affordable, fun filled event. :shifty:

Sadly, I imagine they'll shrug thier shoulders and say 'oh well,'

Hrm.

MC just had that fiasco with the Maulers. I don't think many folks were happy about that.

One would think that after doing something like the Mauler fiasco to alienate their clientèle, that MC would be trying to get their next round of events and offerings to be running that much smoother.

This does not appear to be the case.

For me affordable can be debated depending on what time of year it is, I became a full time student and quit my job to get it done, so with a single income it helps to know if we tell our friends in the area we can come or can't due to how much it costs. I hope it is affordable for us but I'll have to wait and see what falls in the vacation budget for us this year.

edit: just noticed the shifty, wondering if having dinner with me in Orlando made it less fun..... 8-O

And just to be clear, they do have one-day attendance prices where one doesn't have to buy a Con Set, right? Does one have to buy membership including? Man, that is such a scam.

They always have the one-day walk-in rate. You don't have to buy anything to get it.

On a side note, there was a mention of the Joe Con on Fox News a day or two ago. They were talking about the Texas show, and even had Brian on there.
