Inspired by the other thread, I'd like to hear what your all time five (or more) vehicles you would like to see made in 1/18th scale, but will never actually see the light of day. These can be from movies, video games, TV shows, comic books, novels, etc.

1) James Bond Nightfire Alpine Escape Level Snowmobile

I have looked all over trying to find reference pics on this one, managed to grab this from the youtube video.

2) GIJOE RTV from the early Marvel run, issues 6 & 7. http://gijoe.wikia.com/wiki/R.T.V. I've actually been designing this for some time while collecting parts to make it.

3) James Bond Large and Small Hovercrafts from the Teaser Sequence of Die Another Day

4) James Bond Jet Boat from The World Is Not Enough http://www.diseno-art.com/encyclopedia/ ... _boat.html

5) James Bond Switchblades from Die Another Day PHASST (Programmable High Altitude Single Soldier Transport) http://www.kineticaerospace.com/

6) Army Surplus Special from Wacky Races http://www.dan-dare.org/Dan%20FRD/Wacky ... rivers.htm

Another I'd like to try and make, I know Big Lots had a cheap jeep I could use as a starting point.

7) This Russian Mad Max-style truck http://englishrussia.com/index.php/tag/mad-max/

8) Auntie's vehicle from Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome would be a sweet ride for the Dreadnoks http://www.madmaxmovies.com/mad-max-bey ... index.html

9) Jet Speeders from the 2005 Michael Bay movie "The Island".

10) Mono Wheel Motorcycle (perfect for a new Dreadnok)

Holy crap: a Damnation Alley reference! Now that's obscure, and extremely welcome.

I'd love to see a large-scale submarine: multiple decks, ladders, cramped quarters, etc. It would be cool to see a sub playset along the lines of the Flagg, with one side that either can be removed or is permanently open.

I would also love to see a full-scale Dropship from Aliens. And, for good measure, it could come with a bonus APC vehicle/playset with room for a full compliment of Marines inside.

A good sized Phoenix from BotP with all the other vehicles that attach etc.

1. Anything and Everything Stargate: Death Gliders, Puddle Jumpers, X-30allofthem, the Daedelus, an Atlantis playset...

2. A full and proper transforming 18th Macross Valkyrie.

3. Thor's chariot with Toothgnasher and Toothgrinder.

4. 18th scale NASA series, with Mercury, Gemini, and Apollo vehicles including rover. Launch portions not required, but would be stupendously cool.

5. Blue Beetle's Bug.

Transformers in scale with Joes, like a transforming H.I.S.S that could fit troops inside etc.
S.H.I.E.L.D carrier, similar to the F.L.A.G.G. I guess
Star wars Imperial destroyer, with room for tons of figures and vehicles!

There was a mono wheel cycle in roughly Joe scale released with the Mattel Speed Racer movie line. It's probably a little small, but I think it's useable. Also, there's a new, smaller, version of General Grievous' wheelbike coming, so that might work too.

I personally would love to see some vehicles from Shirow's work. I think there's a roughly in scale Fuchikoma (out of my price range) but stuff like the Landmates from Appleseed (the comic designs)
Image

or Bonaparte from Dominion

http://www.gearsonline.net/designers/bonapart.jpg

would be cool.

Not a whole lot of specific stuff I'm after though. If there were toylines for a ton of properties, I might have more, but as just vehicles on their own, meh.

Definitely seconded. I would love to see a full range of 1:18 scale figures and mecha from both Appleseed and Ghost in the Shell.

I would also like to see Hasbro tackle a comic version of Judge Dredd. The lawmaster in particular:

I've also gotta give props on the Damnation Alley reference :) I've got the book, but have never seen the movie... will have to track it down :)

Definitely second the Damnation Alley vehicle! That was cool.

Of course, wasn't it the G.I. Joe Swampmasher that sort of borrowed the wheel design?

The way that Star Blazers kit is setup, that could sell as action figures! Have the figures 4" and the parts come with it. That would be great!

A submarine base shouldn't be hard for one of these companies to do. They wouldn't even have to give the whole sub. The top part could be sticking up with a "water line" done in clear plastic. Below this would be a decent play area with the command room and maybe 1 or 2 others. They could probably do it for under $60 easy. They could even later to a repaint with the "water" being "ice".

A Cobra airship/carrier like we saw in the toon.

A C-130 or similar military cargo plane with a detailed interior large enough to house a couple of vehicles and seat about a dozen figures.

I'll second the new W.H.A.L.E. but I at least want the cargo area big enough to hold a small vehicle and a full squad of figures. Separate engine room wpuld be cool as well.

And I'll get on board with a sub, too. That's going to need multiple rooms and crew quarters
