So after last years debacle in which I couldn't accept credit cards cause the wi-fi didn't reach in the room, I went ahead and called the place here in Frisco for this years con.

The receptionist told me that thier wi-fi will in fact reach the convention hall, but a $9.95 fee will apply each day to access it, which is fine with me. I'll be able to take credit cards and if I have cash in hand, I can probably do cash advances if anyone needs it. Also, if anyone needs to use my laptop during the con, just come to my booth as ask me nicely and squeeze my ass, and it's yours.

but thats good to know. Is the wi-fi seperate from the room access? (which sucked last year. I paid for internet access, but it wouldnt reach the lobby)

Depends on how much time you need the computer for, but I'm gonna estimate 5-7 minutes with both hands. If you need to print anything, be prepared for a full mouth kiss, baby.
