Sometime the original is just the best. I'll admit that it's pretty cool to see scores of carded of Cobra Troopers haning at retail these days...even if the toys themselves aren't something I'm interested in. That's a testament to the quality of the original design and shows that many of the classics are still relevant today. http://www.forgotten-figures.com/joe/83cobratrooper.htm Enjoy! |

Great review as always. As an adult, this has become one of my favorite figures with an awesome sculpt. |

Excellent review. Definitely still one of the best figures of the entire RAH run. The epitome of the Cobra army IMHO. I really wish that the 25th designers included the garrotte and the ammo on the arms of the 25th Trooper , those little details bring so much to the figure. I'm amazed that some of you guys had the military/weaponry knowledge as children to know that officers should have sniper rifles and troops should have AK's. When I was playing with these guys, I didn't even know what the guns were called, they were just guns. |

Until I was about ten years old I only knew pistols, automatic / machine guns and grenade launchers / bazooka's. For example, I used the sniper rifles from the Troopers, Bullhorn, Gnawgahyde, Ambush as automatics. And the vehicles guns like Swampmasher's, Mudfighter's and the Mean Dog's where just "shooting a lot of bullits in very little time". Now I know those guns actually shoot quite large rounds, sometimes with a grenade-effect. But hey, what the heck, it surely didn't effect the fun I had / have! Tim 121RVC |

I always prefered the Officer to the trooper. Something about the 'onesie' sleeves always bugged me. |
