Hmm, I wonder if they'll actually release their HOH packaging it without a Duke, CC or SE if the vote goes that way. At least we'll get a shot at the BATS reissue.

I am looking forward to getting a wraith, and the EEL repaints of Torpedo. Those will flat out rock.

DUDE! No way... one of the secret "Wal-Mart Lists" had a figure on there...a figure called "MASK". And now there's a "Specialist Trakker" on this list?!?!

Matt Trakker?!? On G.I. Joe?? That's pretty out of left field!

Cool.

I was thinking "Tracker", but now that Kenner is a part of Hasbro...

Keep in mind this is just a list of single packs coming this year. This doesn't count the multiple Comic Packs, Battle Packs, vehicles (with drivers), etc, etc, etc... I wouldn't worry, we'll have plenty of slots for other fan favorites throughout 08 and into 09.

Yeah, Spirit's already got his spot in Wave 3, called "Spirit-Iron Knife".

A Wal-Mart list was released and within the newest assortment was listed "MASK" along with Wraith, Para-Vipers, etc... and now this "Specialist Trakker" name is in it's place. Seems to make sense to me.

If it really is Matt Trakker, then that rocks. I hope it is and there are other MASK members incorporated into the line. Maybe even a couple vehicles.

edit: and when you vote, please vote for anyone other than Duke, CC, and SE - do we really need more of them with slightly different paint apps?

I hope Mindbender comes out as a vehicle driver. A giant clear Oscra Mayer Weinermobile called the Test Tube.

Hmmm - MASK was a Kenner property, and Hasbro bought them out.

But making him a Specialist is kinda lame - he was the leader of the whole outfit, for crying out loud - at least make him a Major or something.

Oh wait -- what if it's Scott Trakker all growed up? With T-Bob as a sidekick :-/

Let's say theoretically it is Matt Trakker. Where does Hasbro go from there? Add Mayhem villains? Add COPS characters? Leave this as a surprise cameo? Make a seperate MASK line using 25th molds and scale?

I can't remember names, but at the bar at the con some of the Hasbro guys were talking about how much they wanted to do a MASK line, how they had already made MASK prototypes just for fun, but legal couldn't get the rights to the name "MASK" for "x" years because of the Jim Carrey movie - and until they could secure the name they didn't think it was worth pursuing.

So I know they want to do MASK - but I can't imagine working a MASK line-up into GI Joe before the movie. That's too much going on at once. Maybe after the movie, where they could use it as a spin-off and roll it into another movie, but not now.

I would crap my pants if we got a 3 3/4th scale MASK Rhino.
