Yo bro when you keep starting new threads when you've already said the same exact thing in another thread that you started just seems a little pointless. You have viewtopic.php?f=10&t=8197 that thread going already about chap mei then there's another one that talks about chap mei where you said this same exact thing. We all have said we'd buy some of the stuff if it ever came out. Vehicle wise they are awesome but figures they are still back in the 70's with articulation wise and some don't have any articulation at all as well as HUGE weapons that are useless for 3 3/4" figs. We've even asked Smalljoes to get chap mei stuff in but they say Chap Mei makes huge demands of how much they buy and then when they would get it to ship it out it'd cost a lot for shipping. Big Lots really isn't a major dealer of thier stuff. They just sell a few sets here and there up until around Christmas time. So until someone wins the lottery and can bring in a good amount of Chap Mei stuff I don't see much other stuff coming in, or what contacting Chap Mei about the stuff will help either.

with vikings 2, pirates 2, egypt, etc. coming out this year. it makes you wish the figures were availible more than once a year at big lots and tru. its amazing that an in store brand has generated so much of a cult fan base. now i only wish they would supply us with more chap mei.

Aye, I've looked into it myself awhile back and it was so expensive to buy wholesale that there's no way anyone would pay the resulting retail price.

I'm not sure how Big Lots operates, but talking to the managers at your local store could probably reap some answers. Maybe they can put in orders for some of the larger sets if there's some interest shown.

Meh. I've never been a real fan of Chap Mei's stuff. I'd much rather be able to get a hold of Power Team Elite more readily, than Chap Mei, any day.

Powerteam stuff is great for realistic military equipment, but for out-there sci-fi/fantasy stuff, you can't beat Chap Mei. ....and we'd best be getting at least some of that Egyptian series, especially now that I have Indy 'n pals camped out on my desk.

But the only things that were avalible (mind you this was last year) were a few case assortments of Soilder Force figures and vehicles. This may have changed by now though.
