Hasbro is really messing up with the distribution. I just saw wave 7 at Target yesterday. Even with that, it wasn't all of wave 7 since someone got half of the wave. The figure packs look like the box was damaged too. That's probably why they were still there since scalpers couldn't Ebay damaged packs. So that means they only got 1 box. No other store in town has had them yet either.

I just found wave 7 myself this week, luckily there are only 3 figures I really want out of wave 8 so my wallet gets a bit of a break.

Not much that I want out wave 8 either so I hope it's one of those waves we can actually find at retail.

Not me either. Although closer to Chicago people have found them. I guess I am in the black hole of new figure stocking. :-(
All I am looking for is the HISS driver :hissdriver:. The rest I pre-ordered on HTS. Ironically I also pre-ordered this wave already through HTS. All except Major Bludd :majorbludd:. I'm skipping Roadblock & the Baroness. I didn't see them have the MASS Device CC up.

Forgot to mention that I found these in Wal-Mart in Tucson, AZ two nights ago. Well, what was left of the wave. Just happened to be the ones I wanted though (Tiger Force Flint and Major Bludd). They also had Cobra Commander with the Crystal things but I passed since I obviously don't know what the crystal is and I don't need another Cobra Commander to get said crystal.

Flint and Bludd are awesome. Flint's hands come off kind of easily but he is molded in flesh colored plastic now. Bludd's ninja turtle arm isn't that weird and his head is nice. His helmet doesn't come off...well it does; but it's like Zartan's hair. Big slit in his head. His accessories are bomb though. Missiles coming off his backpack and gun. They are a little finicky to get to stay on though, so I imagine a lot of people will be losing these.

It was weird to find them though as we don't usually get anything in Tucson until a good week after Phoenix.

Yep, they're out. I just came back from the busiest Wal-Mart in Iowa and they had a case of wave 8, and they haven't even had wave 7 yet. I bought every one except Cobra Commander, he is too similar to the one I already have.

Quick Impressions:
Baroness- Much better head sculpt this time around
Roadblock- Tiny, tiny head
TF Flint- No crappy Duke arms! Gloves make all the difference.
PP Officer- Ok, another Cobra army builder, not that it's a bad thing.
Arctic Snake Eyes- Looks good, but I'm not a real big fan of arctic figures. Looks just like he did in issue #2.
Major Bludd- I don;t have the rabid hatred of him that some do, looks pretty servicable to me.
Viper- Looks ok, I see what I think after I open him.

Now with any luck I'll find wave 7 around here!

Wait. Snowy Snakes is in this wave? I thought it was the '89 redo that was in this wave, not Snowy Snakes. Crap. I wanted that figure.

I found a bunch of this wave today (sans Snowy Snakes). Wallyworld had pegs full of these guys and that one Meijers I mentioned in the "Frustration" thread had the remains of this wave on the pegs.

I didn't buy the whole wave, but I got a good look at a few of them. I was surprised at how much I liked the HISS Driver in person -- that's one great figure. And, well, I'm a sucker for TF and PP figures. :-)
