hasbro, make it easy for us to customize our figures again. the 25th figures look beautiful. but rather than damaging them during customizing. give us the o-rings and back screws again. |

I'm an o-ring fan, I'll buy the Hulk figures just for a taste of my old o-ring friends. But it's time to move on. Hasbro ditched it in 1994, 2000, & 2007 - lets give it a rest. At least for the first time the replacement looks good. I mean we could debate the return of derigibles, LP records, and low gas mileage muscle cars - they were all great inventions that are no longer practical. Time to move. -CJack. |

No. Absolutely NOT! As much as I love the older figures, the 25th are the best Joes EVER. And they're just as customizable if you're willing to learn how to take the torso apart. While I wouldn't stop buying, I'd be highly disappointed if they went back to the old style. LONG LIVE THE 25th STYLE FIGURES!!! |

NO! I think the new figures have better proportions, because they don't have to make room for the O ring. The articulation hasn't suffered, and you don't have to worry about some piece of rubber spontaneously self destructing. |

I just want the screw, not the o-ring. The remaining stubs of my fingers will thank you. |

The original O-ring figures are legendary, but the 25th are the inevitable upgrade. No longer will the figs need to be held together with a rubberband. The figures look better and the articulation is better. Ok, ok, the screw would make it easier to disassemble. |

I'm onboard with the "at least bring back the screw" approach. There is no reason why Hasbro couldn't make this figures unscrew. That's just someone being self-important by changing something sacred to the figures simply for the sake of changing it. When Hasbro originally dumped the o-ring for the very first NS figures, I was one of the few people that didn't mind. They still unscrew, and the range of motion wasn't really that impacted. I was happy, but I was constantly told how blasphemous it was to not have an o-ring. Now, with no o-rings but a few more points of articulation, people don't care. Go figure. I'd like to see the mid-torso articulation point go away, too. It won't happen, but it's very unasthetic to me. As I've harped about before, I also see the changed backback hole and footpeg sizes as completely unnecessary. |

I think what we really need isn't the O-ring or the backscrew, but WAIST ARTICULATION. Something easy to pop off, like Bbi/21st's or Showdown's. If they could make a ball joint for the head that's stable and yet relatively easy to pop off when needed, I think they could do it with the waist. - JM |

O-ring back? You're kidding right? I mean, have you seen the new figures? They are a thing of beauty and it takes skill and a hammer to take them apart. I love it. |

I'm all for bringing back the screw. But, I think think they should make it a torx head, just to mess with people. |
