What is one thing you think the MCU dropped the ball on?

It would be easy to say killing Tony or 'essentially' killing Steve, I'm hopeful that with the Multiverse thing going on, they will find a suitable explanation for recasting the roles.
So I'll say a tie between the way they've (pathetically) teased Mandarin [without seeing Shang Chi yet] and killing off major villains unnecessarily. Such as Crossbones and Strucker. Both of which I was excited to see, and the actors nailed their portrayals.
