I keep checking his site, but it still says closed, even though it's been closed for like a year now. I thought this was his main job, how can he afford to be closed for so long?? Or am I checking an old site and he's actually open???

I don't presume to speak for his current capacity or availability, but he has been very responsive to my emails in the past year, has accepted my orders, and delivered great product. I suggest emailing him.

I actually just messaged him last week (or maybe the week before?), but he said he's bringing the shop back online soon.

He's been doing some major renovations to his shop area so that he can better facilitate customer orders. Rather than do things piecemeal he decided several months ago to close the store until he got all the upgrades finished that way he could focus on molding and casting instead of opening for a month then stopping to put in new storage or whatever.
