Thanks! Funny thing is, I have a DLP printer and it sits, rarely used. The results from it are incredible, but man, the mess of cleaning printed pieces just makes it not fun. If I print with ABS or PLA, I can start the print and if it finishes successfully, have a part that might need some cleanup/finishing, but it's at least something I can hold in my hands and marvel at. With the resin, there's the alcohol bath, then the water bath, then the UV treatment to make sure it's cured. If I ever get my workspace set up so that it's more organized and has room for going through step by step, I might use it more, but for now, FDM is good enough.

And it's feedback like that that I've read over the years that's made me want to buy a low cost fdm to compliment mine. I was using an fdm for mechanical parts previously. I don't really want highly detailed models (just functional ball and socket joints that can withstand pressure in micro scale i.e. ABS material).

Edit : did you build or buy your dlp?

As long as you're willing to put a bit of work into fine-tuning the printer to get it to print optimally (or put the money into a higher-end one and still tweak it a bit), you can get some precise ball joints. I've been able to make consistent 1.5mm ones. I don't think they'd stand up to day-in, day-out use or heavy play but they're great for setting up displays and photos.

Has anyone seen the Predator/Dutch figures of the new heroes wave at any brick and mortar store and care to pick up one of Dutch and two or three of the Predator? There are none at the stores around me and I'm getting really sick of driving around looking for them only to be dissapointed. :(

Check your local Krogers chain. I cleaned out their remaining 6 Covenant Raptors at $2.50 each and another pair of Breakout Spitters at $3.50, iirc. I lack only the purple one now but it doesn't have any parts I don't already have so I'll probably skip it. I also picked up a couple of the FortNite ministatues at BOGO $5, a Viking and Oni Samurai. Hopefully the Viking will make a good dwarf once I bash him onto a HeMan.

I haven’t seen any of that wave anywhere. Something tells me those show up at Ollies, 5 Below, and Dollsr General at some point.

Kevin with MC posted some more info and pics about some upcoming MOTU sets:

https://www.megaconstrux.com/en-us/comm ... oint-dread

And a test shot of the Tri-Klops head:

I like the look of Roton but would prefer non-brick versions of Point Dread and Talon Fighter. I really just want the figures, anyway and will probably continue to design and print my own versions of the vehicles from the line I want in my collection.

That merman is going to be hard to resist.

Triklops as well for different reasons. That's a great custom base for character i have in mind.

According to BBTS' website, Splinter Cell's Sam Fisher is coming to the Mega Heroes line!

Having more fun with fun customizing some MC figures. Made Neptul from Blackstar and Huk from Sungold's Galaxy Warriors line. I need to touch up some paint on them but I think they'll work nicely in my MC-MOTU-verse.

I didn't buy them at that high a price; but they're excellent li'l action figures well worth the $5 MSRP:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B084P ... UTF8&psc=1

Ball-motion shoulders and *eye*, hinged shoulder flaps, swivel wrists and waist, rolling wheel. The antenna is *not* bendie-wobbly like the second pic shows, tho. I do wish the figure stand were less intrusive, is about all. A simple clear 3-dot crossbar for the clear backpost to plug onto would be perfect.

Yup, the hair, helmet, and horns were all sculpted on a He-Man head that I cut the pageboy off of.
