Will do. Of course, can't promise I won't vacuum up soon after.

Suntzu: Buzz-Off was one of my favorites as a kid. He was so goofy looking but still cool. I forgot Roboto but I'm not really expecting to see him in this line. I know they said they've done the design work for all the figures but I just don't expect to see ones like him.

I had a fairly strong emotional connection to classic MOTU for a few reasons but i don't think it extends beyond He Man and Skeletor to be honest. The ...battle damage armor and thunder punch variants might be as far as true nostalgia based appreciation goes for me.

For some reason when I think of Buzz Off ....i think of that green motorcycle helicopter hybrid from MASK with the rider /pilot Bruce (Sato?). I'm not sure why. Maybe because both were seemingly the figure / toy from MASK and MOTU that every child back then had.

Anyway....i think the 200x Buzz Off update wasn't...horrible.

Heh, you've triggered the geek in me: the bike was the Condor and it was piloted by Brad Turner. Sometimes it actually annoys me that stuff like that stays in my head. MASK was for me like MOTU for you, where Trakker, Mayhem, and a couple others were the only ones I was really familiar with but the names of nearly all of it sticks in my head and pops out when needed.

I was prime MOTU age when it came out, so it was my first toy obsession. I was strong into MOTU until the swivel arm hit on GI Joe and the extra articulation trumped the size of the MOTU figures, so I jumped ship.

What’s the deal on Point Dread? Is it officially out or...? EE and BBTS still show as preorder but Target says sold out so has it hit some places officially already?

Yes, it is out. I've seen it at multiple Wal-Marts now. The set includes 9 square blocks and 3 square caps that will connect it to CG, too.

Hahahaha Yeah that's the guy. Brad Turner. I wonder...where i pulled the name Bruce Sato from? Maybe a martial arts movie..
Edit: Apparently he is also a MASK guy. I don't recall having him though. Only Bru...errr. Brad Turner (amongst others).

Matt Trakker, Hondo Mclean, and ''Bruce Sato" aka Brad Turner are the only names i recall. Oh...and T-Bob.

What's odd about MOTU for me is i have a visceral connection to MOTU as it really was a key part of my childhood....until bicep swivels on small joes arrived and it was a WRAP after that. Before Joe , though, i was at He-Man on roller skates live events, had He-Man coloring books and fought over not getting home early enough after school to catch the cartoon. It was wild lol. I had snake mountain and lots of He-Man (or He-Man compatible) figures but ... only the 2 main characters hit me in the feels.

What i find interesting about that is i played with this guy & Man-E-Faces more than anyone else:

yet don't feel as strongly about the characters.

Triklops is one where I always liked the character (especially in the mini-comics where he was awesome) but the toy didn't gel with me for some reason. Although I did like his face sculpt -- it always reminded me of the star of 'Hard Time On Planet Earth' and 'Karate Kid', Martin Kove.

This manual is 2lbs and 176 pages. Fun.

It's a blast to put together. I had no intention of getting one, but the lady loved the cartoon as a kid and wanted a quarantine project, and who am I to turn down a chance to buy toys? We did it in little chunks over a week or so, and it was a delight.

Two things I hate about MegaBlocks

1) The damn parts hurt more than LEGO bricks and sometimes take more pressure to snap together

2) Their bag organization sucks. With LEGO you open a bag, build that bag’s worth of stuff then move on tot eh next one with maybe a couple extra pieces they included. I’m 40 steps in on Grayskull and have opened 4 numbered bags plus about 3 unnumbered ones and now it’s telling me it’s time to open 3 more?

Look at all the stuff I still have waiting to be used.

Lego had some legal fit about numbering bags if I recall correctly. That's why Mega didn't number their bags at first. Now I don't know what's going on with them. Some sets are numbered, some aren't, some have a mix. Mattel - "We've Never Found a Toy Format We Couldn't Screw Up, But We're Trying"

Yup, that's the motto on the back of all their toy packaging.

Working on a custom today and this hit me as a funny thought, so I slapped it together really fast (the parts will probably get reused, so wasn't worried about perfect coverage).

Speaking of; where are the codes on the latest Halo Infinite blind bags? The ones with the bright, shiny new MATTEL logo on the front?

Found the latest wave of Halo single carded figures or the remains of it anyway. Picked up 3 of the Marine Sniper for that very nice, helmetless female head. Now my little rebel army won't be as much of a sausage fest. Also got the Spartan Gungnir which is a nice figure but the unarmored right forearm is a bit odd. And there were 3 of the orange and blue Spartan Recon which caught my eye in person. I don't know why I didn't make the connection before but seeing it there on the shelf it hit me - Alley Viper Spartan! So yeah I grabbed all they had.
