Got a couple of Star Wars figures from Hasbrotoyshop on ebay.

If you aren't aware there's free shipping on orders over 99 cents. AND IT'S FED EX! (you do have to pay sales tax)

They have a few clearance star wars figures left and some Marvel 4", including Chameleon and Emma Frost for $5. Other are $4. Some 6" Marvel on clearance/sale, too.

I did this, too! Ordered Miles Spidey, Juggolossus, a Clone Pilot and Hulk. Also got a Combiner Wars Silverbolt for $7.49!

I picked up the Indiana Jones Akator playset. It is decent if you can grab it on the cheap. I set it up and the next thing I know my daughter has the figures swinging from the rope and seeing what toys she can launch out of the volcano.

I really regret not picking up one of these when they were available years ago.

For some reason, they show up A LOT at thrift stores. And I agree, it's a pretty good playset, which is odd, because it made a really crappy Star Wars playset. The few added pieces and the repaint really make it shine.

I picked up this Safari Ltd. Cerberus at A.C. Moore with a 55% off coupon! It needs some tightening up of the paint apps (collars, nails and mouth interiors).

On the way back to my car, I found the tiny tan prehistoric armored mammal in the parking lot (squating down to pick him up was excruciating as my back is currently messed up :( ). He needs a new, less friendly, head and a repaint before joining the rest of my sci-fi menagerie.

Oooh - that Cerberus looks way better than the Schleich one. How big is it?

I got 4 expertly manufactured prints of a childhood favorite. my grandfather took the inner packaging from an "other worlds" box set and mounted it in a "shadow box" for me. he made the box from 2x4's and plywood. it was the backdrop to much play from heman to joes.

thank you soo much J_Man!

for anyone who missed the original thred this is the image, but the prints are way better!

Scale pics with a modern Joe:

Schleich has not made a Cerberus, you are probably thinking of the one from Papo (also available in a white body/black muzzles deco).

Image

They also produced this one that they call "Galactic Cerberus" (also available in a transparent gray deco called "Cerberus Of Darkness").

Image

I like the Galactic Cerberus mold and might pick one up from Happy Hen Toys (they only have the transparent gray one in stock) with my next order.

Add Kohls to the list of place selling Rogue One figures early. The boy and I picked up two ground crew figures, one Jyn, two Sabines, and two of the droids. They were even on sale and the wife had a coupon, so they pretty much came out lower than target and Walmart will be.

I got the 2015 G.I. Joe SDCC set from Ollie's. I couldn't be happier. I really wanted the figures from this set, and they were still expensive last time I checked eBay, so getting the figures for $50 felt like a good deal by itself, and the vehicles are just fun bonus.

Stopped at Ollie's to check for the 2015 SDCC set Ajaman got, but they didn't have it.

I did get a Doctor Who: The Complete Visual Collection (Visual Dictionary/Character Encyclopedia) for $10. Spectre thought that was a good deal and since I have only a passing knowledge of Doctor Who...

Got the KO Powerglide from China off eBay for $4.89 shipped. Not even sure how that's possible, but slapped an autobot symbol on him and he looks great next to MP minibots.

Picked up some awesome diorama fodder at Target after work!

Creatures were $6 each and hands were $2 each.
