Have any of you guys tried making Titan Masters on Dianauts? Basically gluing a bot face to their back and swapping the li'l headbot head in place to hook into the big bot properly? I'm curious about the possibility of having a more poseable headbot.
Looking at these comparison images:
https://goo.gl/images/F2hckkIMO you'd be better off making your own super articulated Titan Master head bot using ABS sheet and scratch building joints (or sculpting joints, molding and casting. or 3d printing micro joints).
The smallest
sturdy stock joints i have modified and used (before Dianauts depending upon your definition of sturdy) were WWE Micro Aggression neck and hip joints, Jada Toys HALO mini figures joints and Transformers Human Alliance knee joints. I used them all on a KO Headmaster bot which towers over a titan master based upon the 1st picture above.
Here is a picture of the 2'' Jada HALO figures i modified long ago using joints from other Jada figures i sacrificed . The nubs on their hinge swivel joints are
really small.

I swear by the stuff for micro work personally. I've made super poseable dianaut sized guys using it as the foundation of the figure as far back as at least 2002 and as long as you sculpt in such a way as to cover the wire in the joint areas it is great for this scale and the poseability is off the charts. I'm actually trying to make my Dianauts pose like my custom figures ( of course the Dianauts look infinitely better due to the fantastic sculpting).
The best micro figure customizer i have ever seen in my life is
Patraw. The dude is
BANANAS in 1.5'' or less scale . He uses wire frames like i do for articulation but he sculpts like a real artist in his preferred material.
Absolutely amazing work.
